Central School of English was founded in 1968, and currently celebrating its 50th year of leading students to a deep understanding and confident acquisition of the English language. The school is close to the many cultural and artistic high-points of the city, of which students can take advantage through our bi-weekly organised activities, and during their free weekends. 

Our educational approach is founded on personal attention: small class sizes of maximum 8 students allow for close collaboration between teacher and students. The pre-arrival needs analysis test allows us to tailor lessons to individual goals and requirements. We believe in education through immersion in language and culture: within our social school environment, students are joined every break and lunchtime by their tutors, while the option of staying with host families allows them to gain further confidence and fluency in their spoken English. 

Our experienced and highly qualified teachers care about and guarantee our students’ rapid progression, leading them to success in all aspects of their personal, academic, and professional life through their new bi-lingual capabilities.
